My Synopsis

Today mostly Supervised Learning ( training instances labelled ) where Deep Learning paramount ( scaling Convolutional and Recurrent Artificial Neural Networks ).

Unsupervised Learning ( understand way human does ) will supersede with Reinforcement Learning a strong complement with resurgence of Evolutionary ( Genetic ) Algorithms ( biological intelligence ) that scale to tackle ambitious problems.

Cognitive computing driven by Machine Intelligence ( ML + AI ) algorithms to process data for pattern discovery, discern context, make inferences, reason, learn, improve over time.

Real battle isn’t over underlying machine learning technology, it’s in building support systems to make it usable ( e.g. smart data harmonization with semantic enrichment )
