Drawing in pen is so relaxing and a good challenge, as you can’t rub it out if you think

you’ve messed up. Half the fun is turning parts of the drawing that haven’t gone to plan into something else. So be free with

your approach. Don’t overthink it – just draw anything you like and keep going, so your whole page fills up with intricate icons,

shapes and doodles.

You can include words too if you feel like it. Most of all, have fun!

1. Doodle yourself happyGet a blank piece of paper, grab a pen and start to draw. Whatever you like. Shapes, words, pictures. Just keep going until you fill the page.

2. Do the bright thingAdding colour to your doodle is a brilliant way to occupy your mind and give yourself a lovely sense of calm. (You can even download and print my doodle to colour in, if you fancy it.)

3. Colour in companyWhy not print out my doodle, cut it in to four and colour them in with your party guests? Just colour, relax and chat - it’s magic. And... when you’re all finished, stick it together to form a giant piece of art. Big and beautiful.
