En una ocasión el Señor pregunto a sus discípulos, Donde esta?

Lucas 8:25 LBLA(25) Y El les dijo: ¿Dónde está vuestra fe? Pero ellos estaban atemorizados y asombrados, diciéndose unos a otros: ¿Quién, pues, es éste que aun a los vientos y al agua manda y le obedecen?

Porque es importante encontrar nuestra fe?

necesario que el que se acerca a Dios crea que El existe, y que es remunerador de los que le buscan.

that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Que es la Fe?What is Faith?

Un ejemplo bíblico.A biblical example.

Barca Boat

-Nuestro lugar de confianza.- aunque el mar este agitado, nos sentimos seguros en la barca.- Nadie salta del barco cuando hay una tempestad en el mar.

-Our secured place.- Even when there is a storm at the sea, wefeel secured in theboat.- No one jumps out of the boat during a storm at the sea.

Porque Pedro se animo a bajar de la barca?Why was Peter encouraged to get off the boat?

Una razón: One reason:

Cristo Christ

Aun el mar es mas seguro estando con Cristo.

Even the sea is safer being with Christ.

Juan 17:15-21 John 17:15-21

Veamos esto Let’s look at this.

Cristo no es del mundo.Pero, vino al mundo y camino en el mundo.Y el mundo creyo en el.

Christ is not from thisworld.But, he came and walked in this world.And, this world believed in him

Cristo no es del mar.Pero camino por el mar.Sus discípulos creyeron mas en el.

Christ is not from the sea.But, he walked on the sea.His disciples believed more in him.

Entonces… Then…

Si Pedro pudo caminar sobre el mar.Yo puedo caminar sobre el mundo.

If Peter could walk on the sea.I can walk on this world.

La actitud de Pedro:Peter’s attitude:

Mateo 14:28. Matew 14:28.

“Si eres tu…” “If you are…”

Que pregunto Pedro? What did Peter ask?

Si era Jesús el hijo del carpintero?

If it was Jesus the son of the carpenter?

O, si era Jesus el Cristo?

Or, if it was Jesus the Christ?

1. Peter comes down out of theboat.

Have you ever tried to come down from a boat being close to the shore?

How does it move from one side to another?

When a diver dives into the sea, he is not afraid because he knows that he will dive in the water.

2. Peter walks on the water

Have you ever tried to walk on the water?

Seems impossible.

But, it was possible!

Christ did it.

Peter did it.

What do you prefer?

Walking on water, or…

Walking on the world.

3. Peter goes to Jesus

Peter had a purpose, that is why he left the “security” he had on the boat and walked on the water.

GO TO JESUS!

Porque dejarias la “seguridad” del bote?

Why would you leave the “security” of theboat?

Fe = Confianza

Faith = Trust

En quien confías tu?

Who do you trust?

Donde esta tu confianza?

Where is your trust?
