A recent visit to The Lodge by the CWA Garden Club saw them provide a very informative and interesting

demonstration on how to make cement pots and slabs. We love it when community groups take the time

to visit us. Thank you, we look forward to seeing you again sometime soon!

On the 21st of June Neil Thornton and Christine Johnson performed a wonderful repertoire of songs from the past. The Residents of Dunmunkle Lodge thoroughly enjoyed it, singing along and tapping their toes in time. No doubt it brought back memories of days gone by.

MUSIC PERFORMANCE

MINYIP P.S. CHOIR

On Thursday 21st of June the Minyip Primary School

Choir held a special performance in the sun room to

celebrate World Music Day. It is such a pleasure

having the kids here, it really makes our day! Thank

you to the staff, children and volunteers who came

along – you did a great job, we really appreciate it!

TEDDY BEARS

A massive thank you to Dorothy for her kindness

delivering beautiful hand made teddy bears to

our Residents over many years. We are sad that

Dorothy’s recent visit was her last but wish her

well for the future. Ellen Niewand (right) is

admiring Dorothy’s handiwork.

JUST FOR FUN

TIME FOR A LAUGH

My wife said “Whatcha doin’ today?”

I said “Nothing”. She said “You did that yesterday.”

I said “I wasn’t finished.”

An elderly woman had just returned to her home

from an evening at church service when she was

startled by an intruder. As she caught the man in the

act of robbing her home of its valuables, she yelled,

"STOP! ACTS 2:38!" (Repent and be baptized, in the

name of the lord, so that your sins may be forgiven.)

The burglar stopped in his tracks. The woman calmly

called the police and explained what she had done. As

the officer cuffed the man to take him in, he asked

the burglar, "Why did you just stand there? All

the lady did was yell scripture at you."

"SCRIPTURE?!" replied the burglar, "She said she had

an AXE and TWO 38's!
