Your opportunityTo provide professional, client service focused, administrative support across a wide range of human resource and competency development processes, initiatives and practices. To provide advice and support to client on human resources legislation, policies, procedures and practices.

Your key responsibilities Communicate effectively with clients on a wide range of human resources matters, maintain

a positive client service approach. Plan and implement work schedules to meet deadlines and client service requirements. Co-ordinate and assist with the recruitment, induction and employment of Crown Law

employees. Process documents and information relating to Crown Law’s human resource activities.

Develop, maintain and regularly update databases and registers. Ensure a high level of accuracy in all documentation and record keeping. Maintain Crown Law’s personnel records and staff establishment and ensure staffing

information is up-to-date. Assist in the implementation of professional training and development programs. Co-ordinate internal and external learning and development activities and provide

administrative support as required. Provide advice and guidance to clients and staff on human resource management

legislation, policies and practices. Draft letters, memos and other correspondence. Assist with the preparation of reports and other requests for statistical information. Contribute to Team projects and initiatives as required. Undertake the continuous improvement of work practices and processes. Adherence to the principals and practices of equal opportunity, confidentiality and workplace

health and safety. Where required, work across various teams and branches in Crown Law.

All newly appointed public service employees who have been employed as a lobbyist in the previous two years are required to provide a disclosure to the Director-General within one month of commencement in accordance with Disclosure of Previous Employment as a Lobbyist Policy.

This position may be subject to a three month probationary period. The incumbent may be required to work hours outside the normal hours. Interstate and Intrastate travel may be required.
