Highway 6/17 Bridges – MTO Northeastern Region Condition Surveys, Structural Evaluations and Detail Design for the rehabilitation of three structures on Highway 6 including two single span concrete rigid frame and on 3-span continuous cast-in-place “T-beam” bridge. Rehabilitation works included deck widening, patch-waterproof- pave deck repairs and barrier system replacement. Construction was completed using staged construction, single lane closures and temporary signal installations. Highway 17 Petawawa and Renfrew Bridges – MTO Eastern Region Structural Evaluations (complex structures) and Detail Design for the rehabilitation of a 3-span pre-stressed AASHTO Type II girder structure and a 3-span post tensioned solid slab structure, including conversion to semi integral abutment, jacking and bearing replacement and reconstruction of deck cantilevers. Nassau Mills Bridge – City of Peterborough Detail design, tender and contract administration services for the rehabilitation of a precast concrete box girder bridge over the Trent Canal. Work included patch, waterproof, and paving of bridge deck, elimination of expansion joints (semi-integral abutment design), sidewalk scarification and overlay, bridge railing replacement, staging and traffic control during construction. The work required approval under NWPA and the completion of a CEAA Screening Document as well as consideration to Trent University as this bridge provides the only vehicle link between the east and west campuses.

Project Profiles

Highway 17 Sudbury – Rehabilitation of 10 Structures – MTO Northeastern Region

Condition Surveys, Structural Evaluations and Detail Designs for rehabilitation of 10 structures on Highway 17 including two 3-span steel plate girder bridges over Vermilion River, two single span CPCI concrete girder bridges over Sudbury Road 24, four 3-span CPCI concrete girder CPR Overhead bridges and two 2-span post tension voided slab bridges carrying Sudbury Road 55 over Highway 17.

Highway 6/17 Bridges – MTO Northeastern Region

Condition Surveys, Structural Evaluations and Detail Design for the rehabilitation of three structures on Highway 6 including two single span concrete rigid frame and on 3-span continuous cast-in-place “T-beam” bridge. Rehabilitation works included deck widening, patch-waterproof-pave deck repairs and barrier system replacement. Construction was completed using staged construction, single lane closures and temporary signal installations.

Highway 17 Petawawa and Renfrew Bridges – MTO Eastern Region

Structural Evaluations (complex structures) and Detail Design for the rehabilitation of a 3-span pre-stressed AASHTO Type II girder structure and a 3-span post tensioned solid slab structure, including conversion to semi integral abutment, jacking and bearing replacement and reconstruction of deck cantilevers.

Nassau Mills Bridge – City of Peterborough

Detail design, tender and contract administration services for the rehabilitation of a precast concrete box girder bridge over the Trent Canal. Work included patch, waterproof, and paving of bridge deck, elimination of expansion joints (semi-integral abutment design), sidewalk scarification and overlay, bridge railing replacement, staging and traffic control during construction.
