Included in the interior areas to be painted will now be the fingerprinting counter room behind the door directly east of the main lobby on the ~ floor. Everything from the counter glass partition wall out to and including the customer waiting area walled surfaces. 4. Eveyr walled surface in the l~ floor main lobby area shall be painted with the exception of the small fascia bricks on the east wall and the wood paneling and trim molding around the “patrol desk” counter. 5. Every hallway wall area which includes glass windows to the existing ceiling tile level will be accommodated with a drop box redesign in the drop-in ceiling to adjust for a transition of the top of glass windows and allow for a ceiling tile system lowering. These are predominately all located on the first floor hallway(s). 6. In replacement of the previously specified 2 x 4 drop-in ceiling tiles, a revised specification of 2 x 2 tiles will be utilized sufficient in application, stain resistance and durability suitable for application under liquid piping and overhead accessible wiring infrastructure i.e.,

Removal of all existing metal ceiling tile system in hallway areas shall include theappropriate disconnection of all electrical wiring and tie-back along with removal anddisposal of existing flush-mounted ceiling lighting fixtures. Reconnection of new Cityprovided LED light fixtures shall be coordinated with City of Flint Department of PublicWorks Facilities Maintenance representative.

8. All work in high traffic public areas shall be compensated in terms of work hours andconditions with minimal disruption of normal work operations in a 24/7 secured facility. Allscheduling and accessibility to the building must be coordinated with the policedepartment representative.

All other existing documents, terms and conditions in this bid remain in effect.

320-00 AQUA BORNE BLOCKOUT/UNDERCOAT — WHITE

This undercoat is a water borne, highly pigmented, very sandable productdesigned as a first coat under fiat, semi-gloss and full gloss enamels. Improvesthe finish coat work by flowing out to a very dense, smooth uniform foundationwithout laps or brushmarks. Bonds well to most surfaces.

USES: For interior surfaces such as wood, plaster, drywall, concrete, concrete block, primed orpainted metal. Excellent for application over vinyl or plastic coated wallcovering as a base coatfor subsequent finish coats. Exterior surfaces, primed or painted metal, concrete, concreteblock or vinyl

MATERIAL PREPARATION: Stir thoroughly before use. Thin sparingly with water if needed.

SURFACE PREPARATION: All surfaces should be cleaned of chalk, dust dirt, grease, oil orwax. Imperfections on new plaster or drywall should be repaired with patching plaster andsanded smooth. New plaster must age at least three weeks before painting. Fill nail holes inwooden surfaces with wood putty and sand smooth. Sand undercoat on wood surfaces beforeapplying finish coats.

APPLICATION: Use universal colorants for tintin. Apply with roller, bristle brush or spray. Donot apply at temperatures below 55°F. For best results, apply full even coats and work to a wetedge. Avoid excessive brushing or rolling.

AIRLESS SPRAY: Use spray equipment capable of maintaining 80-100 lbs. Input pressurewith a 28:1 to 30:1 input pump. Use .017 to .031 inch tips.
