Nichole’s Team Diva Facebook Group Guidelines

I am so happy to have you on my team! In an effort to keep the culture of my team positive, helpful and uplifting I have developed some group guidelines. Please read these and initial that you understand and agree to these guidelines.

1. Group participation is completely voluntary. You may leave at any time. Please add your down-line to this group. Please do not add non Presenters to the group.

2. If you become an inactive Presenter you may be deleted from the group. If you become active again, I am happy to re-add you!

3. Posts that are not positive, helpful or uplifting will be deleted. Please don’t take it personally. Feel free to email me or your sponsor with any concerns. However, we want to keep this group as positive as possible so posts or comments that are only written with the intent to complain and not seek help will be deleted.

4. The following three phrases are not allowed in this group. This is more to train you and your thought patterns so that you can take control of your business:

- I don’t have time (replace with: This is not a priority for me right now)

- I can’t afford it (replace with: This is not a priority for me right now, or, can you help me come up with ways to afford x, y or z?)

- That is not fair. (The idea of fairness is a thinking error- it assumes that someone is entitled to something. Remember that this is your business and we must work for and earn everything we get and do. We are responsible for our actions and for how we deal with what comes our way. No one else. Not our sponsor, not corporate, not our customers. No one owes us anything)

5. Please no advertising your other businesses. If you find a product you think could benefit our team members, please PM me the product. I will then post about it and open it up to that company’s reps to all list their websites.

6. No negative speaking about other DS companies. We all love our businesses for different reasons. Please be respectful.

7. Remember that tone is incredibly difficult to decipher via Facebook and IM. Please try to assume that people are posting and saying things with a positive and helpful intent. If you feel someone is trying to offend you, please contact them directly and politely. Typically posts are that offend others are just a misunderstanding of intent and tone. Please give each other the benefit of the doubt.

Younique Presenter 101: Your commission starts out at 20%. Once you hit $1000 in

Personal Retail Sales (PRS) and hit yellow status it will be 25% until you hit Green where you will earn 30% commission on your sales.

You will begin to earn money off of your downline once you hit pink status which is $250 in PRS sales, 1 active first level Presenter and $2000 in company (your downline) wholesale sales for the month.

Your recognized status will never go down once you reach it. However, your “paid as” status resets at the beginning of every month. The only exception is that once you hit yellow, you never go back to white.

When ordering product you make purchases at full price and then you will receive your commission back within 24 hours- always order through a party to earn rewards!.

You are paid in a PayQuickr account every evening for any sales made in the last 24 hours. After you make your first sale you should receive and email from the so you can set up your account.

After you reach $50 in commission PayQuickr will issue and send out your debit card where all of your future commission will be deposited. Your PayQuickr account is like any other bank account where you can transfer money in and out or just use your debit card. When setting up your Payquicker account, please do it as “personal.”

You must sell $125 worth of products every 90 days to stay active as a presenter. This is a rolling 90 day period. If you become inactive you have 6 months to call customer support to place a qualifying order to have your website reactivated and to get your down-line back.

To check your current status you can go under “my tools” then to “my office.” Be sure the royalties page is showing the correct month. You may have to select it from the drop down menu.

You can view your downline by selecting “downline tree.” If you click on a Presenter you can find their phone number, Facebook link and their sign up date.

You can earn your “Fast Start” by sponsoring three new Presenters and having $2000 in PRS (Personal Retail Sales)

within your first 90 days as a Presenter. You will be awarded a Fast Start Charm and $250 Younique Cash.

Parties and Orders- When placing an order, you should always order through a party.

This way you can earn hostess rewards on your own orders or you can help your hostesses to earn more rewards.

Orders ship as soon as they areplaced- no waiting for a party to close.

Shipping is $5.50 flat rate or free on orders over $100. We currently ship to all 50 states and APO’s, Guam, US Virgin

Islands and Puerto Rico. You must be Facebook friends with someone to set them up as a

hostess. Facebook Events do not show ongoing events well so you ought

to change your party date every 1-2 days so they stay current on your guests’ pages.

I include the party (not Facebook) link in everything I post. People from mobile devices and tablets cannot always click the party link to go shopping if you don’t. Anything you can do to encourage and make shopping easier will help you.

There are pictures in my team group and the Presenter Family page that you can use for advertising in parties and on your Facebook pages. Don’t remove watermarks but other than that, images are free to use unless specified not to.

The more excited and interactive you are on your parties, the better! People will feed off of your enthusiasm.

I would not push recruiting or scheduling other parties until the end of the party you are currently running. We don’t want our hostesses feeling like we are poaching their guests. However, if an opportunity comes up, take it!

Your hostess cannot redeem her rewards until the day after her party closes. She needs to go through your website to do it and she must be logged into her account. Any Younique cash or rewards you or a hostess earns will show up when you go to check out, after adding items to your cart. Parties close automatically on the end date.

Younique cash cannot be used to pay for shipping or taxes or applied to any half priced items.

Hostess reward redemptions do not count towards your personal sales or other party credits unless they pay above their rewards and half priced amounts.

Facebook Accounts Business Facebook pages can be a great way to spread the word

about your business. Go to this page and click “Create Page” on the top right corner.

“health/beauty.” Your Facebook page name or image must say something about

you being an Independent Presenter and not give the illusion that you are representing the corporate page.

The Presenter Only Page (POP) is a good place to rub shoulders with out presenters. Please do not upload marketing materials to this group unless you have gotten them approved first. This is also not the place to post basic training questions. Please ask your sponsor or post them in your team group first.

Please do not post about your other businesses on the POP. My team page (and any other small team groups you may be a

part of) are your primary places to go for help and questions. These are more closely monitored by your leaders so we know you are getting good info and advice.

PRODUCT EDUCATIONThis is copied from Melanie’s Product Education email from 10/18/2013. Knowing about Younique’s Products is part of your responsibility in running your Younique business. You can also read a full list of product ingredients on your website.

I mentioned before that we are in the process of enhancing your back offices to have an extensive “Training Resource Center” right at your fingertips – pertaining to all topics applicable to your Presentership. One of those topics of trainings will be Product Education. As we are working with our manufacturers to make sure we are messaging and marketing our products confidently, it has been a lot of fun diving in and getting the details outlined. We are still several months out before we have this information accessible in your back offices. However, this information is just too darn valuable to not pass on to you now.

My goal in this email is to message once and for all which Younique products are considered all-natural vs naturally-based, vegan, and gluten-free. Please hold on to this information for easy reference until it is readily available in your back offices.

1. NATURALLY-BASED PRODUCTSEvery single one of our products are considered naturally-based and a majority of them are considered all-natural. The National Ingredient Resource Center (NIRC) considers a product "all-natural," if it contains at least 95% of ingredients that fits their criteria for natural ingredients. The other 5% may come from ingredients that do not meet their criteria for natural, but do not contain synthetic fragrances, artificial colors, or harmful fillers.

Younique uses mostly natural and/or organic ingredients, as well as also using some synthetic ingredients. Sometimes it is necessary to use a non-toxic synthetic ingredient (s) when no equivalent can be found in nature. While the idea of using 100% all natural products may seem appealing, it is not practical and

does not necessarily mean they are safe. In fact, failure to include effective preservatives in a product can lead to health problems, such as skin infection. It is necessary to use some type of synthetic non-toxic preservative (s) to ensure the products you use are safe. The recent negative publicity surrounding the use of parabens may give the impression that all synthetic preservatives are toxic or carcinogenic, when in fact, they are not. In an ideal world, we'd be able to pluck the leaves or seeds from a plant or tree, crush it up and mix into our products and come up with a safe and effective preservative. In reality, this is not feasible. Some natural preservatives are originally plant derived, but must undergo a chemical process to convert them into a viable and effective compound strong enough to prevent and combat bacteria and fungus. A balance must be struck between effectiveness and gentleness - in other words, a preservative, which is not only non-toxic, but one that won't cause skin irritations or allergic reactions.There are many synthetic ingredients that are considered to be safe and non-toxic. Conversely, there are all-natural ingredients, which can be considered toxic, and you wouldn't want to use. From our perspective and in our research, it is more important for a product to be safe and non-toxic rather than a 100% all-natural and organic. With that in mind, here is how our products fair in relation to that – pretty amazing facts really!

BB Flawless does have Shea Butter in it. The Food Allergy Research and Resource Program reports the shea nuts are a tree nut, but that they do not belong in the list of commonly allergenic tree nuts. It is the oil from the shea nut that is used. The oil contains little protein, which is what triggers the allergic reaction. The risk of a reaction to the Shea Butter is considered to be extremely low to those who do have a nut allergy. Most people with nut allergies do not have a problem using Shea Butter, but it should be noted for those with extreme cases.

Virtual Party Hostess Tips

Here is a tip sheet for you to send to your Virtual Party hostesses.

Once the event is created, immediately invite at least 100 people: the more invites, the more attendees. Even someone you think may not be interested…just may be!

Once invites are sent, immediately create a ‘welcome post’ stating the party is ONLINE ONLY, something about Younique that is catchy to get people to join—pin this to the top of the page with a good picture of your gorgeous smiling face in the post!

Every time an invite “joins” the party page, greet & welcome them personally with excitement! Your excitement is very contagious; use your words to express this. Also, ask them to extend invite to their FB friends as well! The more the merrier applies here!

When your Presenter makes a product post, try to tag at least 3 people in that photo…ask yourself “whom do I know would LOVE this product?” TAG TAG TAG!

Comment on your Presenter’s posts, ask questions that contain tags (even if you know the answer) show your friends that you are engaged & care what they think!

Make your own post, including pictures even! At least once daily (the more the better) during your party…ideas for posts can be asking the Presenter questions, telling a funny cosmetic-related story that women will relate to while tagging your friends in the post, review a product you have already tried. REMEMBER: Your friends will not be interested in your party if you are not there.

Check your party link daily; thank customers for purchases & LET’S HAVE A GREAT PARTY!!! YOU READY? I AM!! I ALREADY KNOW YOUR PARTY WILL ROCK!!!

1) Get dressed ALL THE WAY to hairspray!!! NO WORKING IN PAJAMAS!!! By doing this, you are open for business! If you are dressed for success, you will find success!!!

2) Talk to 3 new people about Younique EVERYDAY!!!3) Work on Personal Development 1 hour per day (scripture study,

motivational or direct sales books, etc)

*Do this for 28 days in a row…then it will become a habit!!!

Weekly Tasks:Monday- Customer Day

Write thank you notes to random or first time orders and send out samples.Tuesday- Team Tuesday

Meeting day, do your one-to-one calls/meetings, trainings/webinars, email at risks, newsletter.Wednesday- Social Media Day

Do 5 pins on Pinterest, Post in 2-3 Networking groups, look for more groups, post on business page, post on personal page. Respond to 5 tweets, do a tweet.Thursday-Supply and Planning Day

Find or plan a local event for the month, reserve spots, plan a party, check inventory, check business cards, labels, stamps, envelopes, samples and clean out binder.

Weekend- Do 1 event or party/ month, relax, spend time with family.
