With Easter just around the corner, let’s make their Easter season special. The church would like to send our college students a little gift this Easter season. We ask for your help with buying Scrip gift cards so that we can send them to our young adult students in college-just in time to celebrate the end of finals! Just stop after Mass and pick up one or more $10 gift cards for either Amazon.com, Barnes and Noble, Target, Taco Bell, Starbucks, or Walmart. Dropped purchased cards in the contribution slots at the kiosk or drop them off at the church office. Let’s remind these college students they are loved by all of us here at their parish. Questions? Call Eric Antrim. ~The Mass Like You’ve Never Seen Before Did you know that there are four parts to the Mass? Why Do We Do That - Catholic Life Explained Question: What is the story behind Divine Mercy Sunday? Answer: In Poland during the early 1930s, Jesus appeared to a religious sister, St. Maria Faustina Kowalska. These private reve-lations had one key theme: the love and mercy of God. The rele-vance of this message was evident then and would continue to
resound in importance throughout the social and political upheaval of the 20th century.
One of Jesus' requests was the insti-tution of a feast of God's mercy. St. Faustina records in her diary, "I desire that the Feast of mercy be a refuge and shelter for souls. let no soul fear to draw near to me. It is my desire that it be solemnly celebrated on the first Sunday after Easter" (Diary, no. 699). After St. Faustina's canonization in 2000, the Vatican declared that the Second Sunday of Easter would be known as Divine Mercy Sunday.
The greatest attribute of God is love and mercy.
-St. Faustina Kowalska

Fausti-na, Maximillian Kolbe, and John Paul II. This week, go to formed.org and start watching the series Divine Mercy In The Second Greatest Story Ever Told.
