Towel Drive during the month of January. The tow-els will be donated to area homeless shelters, veter-ans, South Milwaukee Human Concerns, Tippecanoe Church and the St. Vincent DePaul meal site on the south side of Milwaukee to help our neighbors in need. It’s cold and flu season! If you’re ill, we hope you

get well soon. Just a reminder that staying home

from Mass due to serious illness is NOT a sin. It’s

also okay to smile and nod or wave to

acknowledge those around you during the Sign of Peace if

you’re worried about spreading or receiving germs. If you

choose not to drink from the chalice during this time, rest

assured that you are still receiving the body of Christ through

reception of the consecrated host. Personal prudence and

responsibility should always prevail when individuals are ex-

periencing illness or a compromised immune system.
