What is happening?

When you pay attention to your work, especially when it

is noisy or when somebody is bothering you, you should

think, focus, and do. That is, think what do I need to learn

or do, focus by looking at the teacher or material and

ignoring others, and finally do what is needed to complete

the work.

Situation: Two students are working independently and quietly on a math problem worksheet. A third student behind them is not working and keeps asking them to look at his cool new shoes. When they don’t look at him, he gets up and walks in front of them to get them to look at his shoes.

Actors needed who can show the 3 Skill Steps involved in paying attention to your work!

Observers needed who can determine if the 3 Skill Steps were shown by the actors.
