In short, it is exactly that joyful abundance of life Jesus said He came to bring all who follow Him.

Desire to follow Jesus Donate a time and place to God Distance themselves from distractions Designate someone to hold them accountable Determine to put into practice what the Holy

Spirit teaches them. (Holy Habits) Develop disciples

Two Problems

Philosophy of this Age.– Usually people will tolerate a brief dabbling in

the “inward journey,” but then they are distracted with ‘illusionary’ business in the world. Because to follow Christ is to allow Him to change every element of your life and people do not want to change.

Practicality of Practice– People do not know how to go about exploring a

(deeper) relationship with God.
