Women from 19 countries around the world attend AUW. In 2019, AUW inaugurated its Summer School to boost the educational experience of the brightest secondary school students in Bangladesh through an intense 5-week program focused on Math, Physics and Statistics. While the Science Summer School will continue, a parallel summer school in the Humanities is also planned. Both programs will draw on international faculty and use remote delivery of intellectual resources as well. AUW now seeks a Director of the Summer School who, working alongside an administrative assistant, will be responsible for all aspects of planning -- academic, administrative, admissions -- of the Summer School under the guidance of AUW Vice Chancellor and the Asian University for Women Support Foundation. We seek an intellectually dynamic team leader to lead this program. A minimum of a Masters Degree and three years of relevant experience are required. AUW exercises a preferential option for women in its employment policy and strongly encourages applications from qualified female applicants.
