Career ExplorationProgram

The Eastern Long Island Academy of Applied Technology will be hosting a Technical Career Summer Exploration Program at our campuses

in Oakdale, Bellport and Riverhead. This program will provide students with the opportunity to learn more about a variety of exciting career options. Students must be entering grades 8-10 in the fall of 2016 and be 12 years old by July 11, 2016 to be eligible to participate. Sessions run Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., July 11 through July 22, 2016.Each participant must provide his/her own transportation to/from the program.

Why should my child attend the Eastern Long Island Academy of Applied Technology?• Students will learn what it takes to be successful

in a technical career, including practical skills and workplace safety.

• Students will experience a hands-on introduction to a specific career field of their choosing.

• Students will engage in activities to improve their self-esteem and self-awareness.

• Students will discover the various types of career-readiness programs available in the eleventh and twelfth grades.

Full RefundFull refunds, less a $35 withdrawal fee, must be submitted in writing at least 5 business days prior to the first day of the program.

Partial Refund90% of the tuition, less a $35 withdrawal fee, will be given if a written request is received less than 5 business days before the first day of the program.

75% of the tuition, less a $35 withdrawal fee, will be given if a student withdraws after the first class.

NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN AFTER THE SECOND CLASS. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS POLICY. Refunds will take 4-6 weeks for processing.
