Toactivate the defrost cycle, simply push ( in ) thered defrost button located inthe center of thecontrol knob/dial, ( do not turn the controlknob/dial to zero=off ) The defrost cycle isinitiated immediately, When defrosting is complete, the 'Push Button" wUIrelease (pop-out)automatically and resume normal operatingconditions at the same temperature setting

NOTE:If the "push Button" is activated (pushed-in)accidentally, itwill not be possible to "manually"putl-out the push button_ (deactivate the defrostcycle) You must either let the defrost cycle i'un it'scourse or,

    * Apply (hold) a dishcloth soaked in hot wateragainst the thermostat capillary line and bracket, located on the underside of the freezercompartment, The heat transfer from the dish clothwill cause a temperature rise on the thermostatcapillary, (sensing line) causing the internalcontacts to close_This will resume normal

operating conditions, tt may take several minutesand/or repeat applications before the push buttonwill release_

Defrosting Ofyour refrigerator should take placewhenever ice build-up Inside the freezercompartment reaches 1/4" (6mm) thick. Defrostingmay take a few hours, depending on the amountof accumulatadice and ambient indoor
