Transcript of Dinjerra Messenger
From The Principal Dear Parents/Caregivers It is great to see the physical changes happening around the school. There is new turf for chil-dren to play on, the student toilet refurbishment is close to comple-tion and the covered walkway to the new building has commenced. I started hosting Morning Tea with the Principal this week and had the privilege of having selected stu-dents share their learning with me at recess. It is wonderful to hear children excited about their learn-ing! Have a great fortnight Leanne Sheardown PRINCIPAL

Morning tea with the Principal
I had the privilege of inviting William, Sarah, Krystal, Nayna and
Kristy to the first morning tea with me to share their learning. These
students have been chosen by their
classroom teacher for having a posi-
tive attitude towards their learning.
William, Nayna and Kristy shared
their Writer’s Notebooks and Krystal
and Sarah shared their Inquiry learn-
ing about the farm. I look forward to
sharing morning tea with others.

Page 3 Student Leadership Event Day
Last Monday was a day where students practiced and developed their leadership skills. The art of listening, problem solving,
communicating, negotiating, co-operating and working as part of a team were high on the agenda. The students had a great time
with staff and the YMCA volunteers learning their social skills and leadership skills through many and varied fun and challeng-
ing activities. The day was followed by a sausage sizzle cooked especially for us by Mr Hennessey and some of our wonderful
parent volunteers.
This project was funded by School Focused Youth Services.
Braybrook Literacy and Homework Club
