Graphical styles

A graphic style is a set of reusable appearance attributes. Graphic styles allow you to quickly change the look of an object; for example, you can change its fill and stroke color, alter its transparency, and apply effects in one step. All the changes you apply with graphic styles are completely reversible.

You can apply graphic styles to objects, groups, and layers. When you apply a graphic style to a group or layer, every object in the group or layer takes on the attributes of the graphic style

Cel-Shading

is a type of non-photorealistic rendering designed to make 3-D computer graphics appear to be flat.

Cel-shading is often used to imitate the style of a comic books or cartoons.

Cels (short for celluloid),

Conventional (smooth) lighting values are considered for each pixel and then quantized to a small number of isolated shades to create the characteristic flat look.

where the shadows and highlights appear more like blocks of colour rather than mixed in a smooth way

Abstract

The most strict definition of an abstract strategy game requires that it cannot have random elements or hidden information.

Some abstract strategy games have multiple starting positions of which it is required that one be randomly determined.

Some games, such as Arimaa and DVONN, have the players build the starting position in a separate initial phase which itself conforms strictly to abstract strategy game principles

Exaggeration

Exaggeration is used in games, mostly in RPG

this art style is used for anime and manga typically

artist exaggerates many things within the game, mostly games with a Japanese influence, for example, in the game "final fantasy 7" the character "cloud" has a huge sword.

Exaggeration is also used for emotions, as the characters have bigger eyes when sad, and strong characters are muscular etc.

Action Doom 2: Urban Brawl

Urban brawl takes the popular ‘beat-em-up’ style and fuses it with your favourite game. Not only does urban brawl break new ground in terms of gameplay, but visuals as well. From start to finish the game looks and feels like a virtual comic book, the world and its inhabitants are entirely cell shaded and the story is told through a series of sin city inspired cut scenes.

You will fight dozens of new enemies, using over 15 new weapons to beat the life out of them. Fight across 9 brand new levels, choosing between numerous paths and decisions, each vastly changing the outcome of the game.
