We have a long history of delivering complex digital projects, building services that have had an enormous impact on the lives of millions of people across the UK.

Among Kainos’ multiple private sector projects have been implementations at Netflix and Travelex, where Kainos helped rapidly deploy and test ERP systems by empowering staff to adapt and use the tool easily and comfortably.

Life is also now much easier for anyone applying for a new or replacement passport from the Passport Office; Kainos having delivered a fast, simple digital service that makes applying quicker and easier, and that has cut response times from six weeks to around six days.

• The DVSA’s new online MOT service enables the capture of 42 million MOT results, conducted by 80,000 testers in over 22,000 separate MOT Garages. And the MOT reminder service serves over 790,000 subscribers and has a 97.67% user satisfaction rate (as of May 2018).

• A CRM platform implementation saw the Bank of Ireland drive efficiencies in customer targeting, seeing its sales and marketing costs fall by 20% and its market share rise by 10%.

• As part of the Home Office Passport Service digital transformation, we’re in the process of successfully transferring 7 million passport applicants online.

• We helped a foreign currency exchange specialist reduce its annual HR spend by 25% and improve services for 7,500 employees across 30 countries.

• The Cabinet Office Register to Vote online registration service is now available for 99.9% of voters. During the 2015 election period a record 469,000 people registered to vote online in one day.

• HM Courts and Tribunal Service successfully digitised the UK court service for the first time. From 95% of all cases being heard in court, we moved 30% into a virtual environment and 30% to digital self service. The reduction in headcount from 17,000 to 5,000 has paved the way for £200m savings per year.

• Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust reported annual cost savings in excess of £3million with Kainos Evolve, an Electronic Medical Record system which enables mobile digital access to medical records across the Trust. Serving a population of 380,000 and with 500,000 patient details on the system, it’s speeding diagnosis and boosting treatment standards with access to real-time patient data at the point of care.
