One of the foremost dance companies in the world, NYCB currently has approximately90 dancers, making it the largest dance organisation in America. It has an activerepertory of over 150 works, principally choreographed by George Balanchine, JeromeRobbins and Peter Martins. This show features a performance by Joaquín de Luz, whojoined the NYCB in 2003 and was promoted to principal dancer in 2005.

The programme includes a selection from Apollo (Stravinsky), Other Dances (Chopin),Don Quixote (Minkus), Agon (Stravinskly) and a Tribute to Ray Charles featuring some ofhis all time classics such as “Hit the Road Jack” & “It Should Have Been Me”.
