ANY QUESTIONS?
HOW CAN WE TAKE OWNERSHIP?
• Once the Community Asset registration has been agreed, and once the tender for the management of the centre is released we will need to bid in a competitive process.
• We will need to show the council that we are the best people to run the centre and will be competing against private firms
We need • a recognised formal legal structure• Robust business plan• Realistic funding strategy• Strong financial reporting systems• Track record of delivery

We suggest the committee should be made up of :• 1 representative from HBL• 2 representative from council officers• 1 representative local elected councillor• 1 representative from Hanwell Community Forum• 1 representative of Hanwell Traders Association• 1 representative of HCC tenants group• 5 people with connection to Hanwell Community
Centre
