An e-portfolio is a digitized collection of artefacts including demonstrations, resources, and accomplishment that represent an individual, group, or institution. This collection can be compromised of text based, graphic or multimedia elements archived on a Website or on other electronic media such as CD-ROM or DVD. An e-portfolio is more than a simple collection. It can also serve as an administrative tool to manage and organise work created with different applications and to control who can see the work. E-portfolio encourages personal reflection and often involves the exchange of ideas and feedbacks. http://net.educause.edu/ir/library/pdf/eli3001.pdf This e-portfolio assignment will concentrate on the reflections of what the students have learned from the assignments, project, presentation and maybe activities. Students will need to up load their assignments or projects and to include critical and intellectual reflection of what they have learnt from the particular assignments, presentations or activities. This is part of the Taylors Graduate Capabilities initiatives. Each student MUST submit and pass the e-portfolio component to PASS this module. Objectives of Project The objectives of this project are as follows: To identify a personal and expressive response to visual simulation. To apply basic principles and elements of design and drawing as a language to visualise and to communicate ideas. Learning Outcomes of this Project On successful completion of this assignment, students will be able to demonstrate the following: 1. Recognize their potential for creativity, self-expression and visual awareness. 3. Demonstrate observation skills and be able to record, organize, interpret and describe a variety of issues via visual communications effectively.

Introduction

E-portfolio is a valuable learning and assessment tool.

Students will need to up load their assignments or projects and to include critical and intellectual reflection of what they have learnt from the particular assignments, presentations or activities. Tasks - Methodology Each student is then required to create an e-portfolio. Students are required to scan and upload their work before submitting their work. Then students are required to write their reflection on what they have learned from the particular assignment, projects, tutorial session, journals, presentation or activities. Students are encouraged to research on how to produce a good “reflection” e-portfolio as the reflection should be original and have some critical thinking.

Submission Requirement

Students are required submit their e-portfolio link on week 9 and again as a final submission at week 18.

Students are required to upload scanned documents of their work or digital files, videos, and slides etc

of their assignment to the e-portfolio. This is a formal document however the students should make it

interesting and easy to understand. Documents are able to be scanned are better off scanned rather than

uploading it as picture(s) of the document.

Students may use any website however it must be accessible and name it as;

“FNBE 0814/ YOURNAME”

TIPS: Do write information such as; the introduction of project, the process, the requirements and

instructions, duration, team name, team members, issues related, obstacles and solution in the process of

finishing the project, the final outcome (5 min presentation?, a video presentation?, A4 document). Why do

you learn from the project or assignment? It is best to write about the subject and content of the subject.

Submit to the given link at the end of the semester.
