Agenda
DEMETER Objectives
DEMETER is the first demonstration project in France for green growth, launched on the
Aeronautic Platform in Toulouse (addressing Airbus and International Airport activities)
DEMETER aims to demonstrate how a strong and local governance can support the
emergence of innovative projects to improve the environmental footprint and at the same time
be a key driver for attractivity and economical growth.
DEMETER is involving local public partners and private partners sharing the same objectives
in terms of sustainable development on the Aeronautical Platform in Toulouse
Airbus and Toulouse Airport are the main customers

Initiative based on past experiences – progressive approach:
Delivery flights The fuel delivery Platform is operational (1st partnership with
Total/Cathay Pacific – all A350 delivered with 10% SAF blend)
Internal operations with Sustainable Fuels Project investigation is launched in the
objective to use SAF on Internal flights (Beluga Airbus internal flights) or test flights on a
regular way

Conclusion
Demeter is a significant example of collaboration between a region
(Occitanie), a state (France) and Industry (major French actors) on
emissions reductions and SAF development
Airports become today one essential component for SAF supply and
engagement at regional level
Regional projects are key to demonstrate
That it is possible to setup efficient and extended partnerships and take
commitments on emissions reduction,
To promote innovation and more globally regional attractivity and
sustainable growth
