Actual Scenario In Bihar :-

Only 30% of rural area covered with electricity in Bihar

Only 20 % of BPL family have electricity connection in Bihar

70 % rural area don’t have

distribution network in Bihar

80% of BPL family depends for

their need of power on conventional

resource like wood and kerosene oil

Bihar loosed its 60 % power plant and 90 % coal in partition to Jharkhand

Many of them didn’t get electricity when ever the need it the most

Bihar has poverty rate of 35-40% highest in India enough to explain many

areas in Bihar yet to electrified that will enhance social and educational

status of poor family that will drive long term development in poor and

needy people in Bihar

T.V. can be a strong medium to educate and empower poor families providing a television to every house hold leads to social, economical ,cultural and educational empowerment of these family including women and children as education only path that leads towards poverty free developed India

Electrifying rural community is possible through renewable energy:-

1. By solar Energy DDG

2. By Biomass gasification DDG

3. By solar Biomass Hybrid mini grid

Rural Electrification By solar:-

As per MNRE Bihar have very reach solar resource and

having annual irradiation of 5.22 Kwh/m2/day. This much

irradiation is enough to electrify rural people at the lowest cost

of less then Rs. 15/day

Solar Mini Grid:-

The concept behind Solar mini grid is A adequate Battery bank is keept with Photo Voltaic module, in sunny days battery get charged and it supply electricity through distribution when ever needed as shown in fig.

Gasification process:-

Gasification is a chemical process that convert biomass energy in to gas fuel use to operate generator. Biomass fuel is feed through a tank of defined capacity, chemical reaction start at specific temperature that convert solid carbon in to gaseous carbon remaining comes out as very fine asses .

Solar Biomass mini Grid

The concept behind solar biomass miny Grid is to reduce battery cost. The distribution is routed through very small battery bank in day time required energy full fill by solar system while in night time or in rainy season electricity produced by gasified.PV syystem and gasified both have life spam of minimum 25 yr. This system reduce maintenance and component replacement cost up to a great extent
