Dear Members –What a great year 2019 has been:
Congratulation’s to our Men’s ClubChampion Jeffrey Taylor, our LadiesClub Champion Chris Zavada. Alsocongratulations to Tom Rose, Ron
Ellis, Al Johnson and Bob Phillipson their hole-in-ones. Congrats to our over 55 adult tennis teams that
represented Dunes West in the localleagues over the past year. They werecomprised of singles, doubles, mixeddoubles, and combo teams in the 18,40 and 55+ age divisions. We wantedto send a special thanks to all of theteam captains and co-captains forhelping to organize the teams. It is
through your efforts that our programcontinues to be one of the best in the area. We look forward to the
upcoming tennis year.
Thank you to all our members whosupported the club throughout the
year by attending luncheons/dinners,fitness classes, tennis events and
swimming/social activities as well. We thank you for being active
members of the club.
I am happy to pass along that we willbe hosting a New Years Eve Party
this year at the Golf Clubhouse for thefirst time in a few years and hope you
can attend. Information has beenemailed but you can RSVP by calling

major investment in the future of our club and we cannot thank ourowners enough for allowing us the
opportunity. We also completed renovations to tennis court #10 and
began renovations to courts #5 and #6this month. We installed a new 65” TV
in the golf clubhouse and a 60” TV over the bar. We completed a major
landscaping project around the tennisfacility and look forward to additional
improvements in the coming year. We are also very excited to announcethe arrival of our new Club Car® golf
carts. They feature USB ports andupgraded seats for a more
comfortable and enjoyable ride.
In 2020, we look forward to manymore club improvements to includebut not limited to: course drainage
projects, new carpet in the golf clubhouse, rearranging the gym set
up and introducing a rowing machine,and possibly one more new piece of
equipment if we can create the space.We will take up phase two and three
of our landscaping project at the mainpool with the addition of a shaded
area, per the request of many. Excitingthings are happening and we hope
they make your membership more enjoyable.
