Under guidance of OCG;Following direction of DBCP, SOT, AST, and ET/SDR*:

(i) Act as a focal point for implementation & operation of obs. systems, and provide assistance to platform operators for free and unrestricted data exchange (telecom. systems, formats, clarifying & resolve issues);

(ii) Maintain information on data requirements (GOOS, GCOS, WWW);

(iii) Gateway for information on instrument deployment, servicing opportunities, contact information;

(iv) Provide information on observational programmes, e.g. instrumentation, instr. Evaluation, data quality.
