Key Statements1. When estimating a fraction, look at
the distance between the numerator and denominator. Chose 0, ½, or 1.
2. When comparing fractions with the same numerators, look to the denominator for the size of piece.
3. To change an improper fraction, find how many WHOLE times the denominator can go into the numerator and what extra pieces there are.
