• Person A will begin reading and the others will follow along. *Stop after paragraph 1

• Person A’s job is the circle the most important words and annotate why the author included those words

• Person B’s job is to underline the evidence that supports the author’s claim that AVID helps the at-risk. B will pick up reading paragraph 2. Then repeat til end

• Partners will have to share what they’ve done because the papers need to look identical
