David Fincher

David Fincher, born 1984 is an American film maker and music director.

The music videos he’s produced have all had a large budget and therefore had a big star to work with.

He won the MTV best direction award two years In a row with Madonna's videos ‘Express yourself’ and ‘Vogue’.

In this category, he managed to earn three or four nominations for best director with his created videos.

The Rolling Stones

David Fincher also directed The Rolling Stones video ‘Love Is Strong’ in which he gained many awards for his outstanding effort and work.

The effects used in the video were thought of the best at the time and he even won the best special effects award when the video was released in 1994.

The video was a showcase of his great cinematic eye and hence made the song a great success.

Madonna

David Fincher directed four of Madonna’s music videos, two winning best director awards (‘Express yourself’ and ‘Vogue.) This are known as two of her most influential and best videos of all time.

When he directed Vogue, it was the most expensive film at that time and also thought of as the best.

He was inspired by Hollywood glamour which explains why its black and white and also the costumes used.
