United States ArmyMachine Gun Team Leader (2006-2010) Positions held include: Stryker ICV driver, rifleman team leader, machine gunner, weapons squad team leader. I was responsible for $4.2 million Stryker IC vehicle and equipment. I deployed July 2009 to the Kandahar, Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom with the 5th Stryker Brigade. As part of a counter insurgent force, I engaged in direct combat against the Taliban, assisted in humanitarian aid, operated as hostile crowd suppression and dispersion force, provided private security detail for Brigade Commanders, Canadian Generals and other United States and NATO diplomats on multiple missions totaling over 340.
