WOW! Times are really exciting here. I think most people will agree with me when I say that five or six years ago CA was struggling a bit. Attendance was down, rumors were circling about the condition of the school, and there was a sense of apprehension about the future. A lot has changed at Canton Academy since then. As a CA graduate and mother of the first 3 year old kindergarten program, I personally couldn’t be more excited! The accomplishments of our athletic squads over the past several years have generated a renewed enthusiasm for the school and increased support for the Booster club, and academics continue to be a corner stone here at CA. Our advanced curriculum, new state of the art media/library center, recent cafeteria upgrades, the spiritual enrichment our kids get through the regular chapel services, and the superb faculty continue to make CA a true college preparatory school for all students. What more could a mom want? Oh yeah, a beautiful fieldhouse where your children can train and utilize for their high school athletic days. The stability in leadership is also a key element in the future and success of our school. Mr. Glasgow you will be missed, but I know through prayerful consideration the Board will hire someone who will continue to make CA the best it can be. I encourage everyone to come visit the school and see for yourself what’s new at Canton Academy. ~Sarah Willis Class of 1993 Thanks to all the “helpers” who made large mail outs go much faster. I’ll miss you this summer, but I promise to have plenty more work next fall. Enjoy your summer! ~Sarah
