- New INET platform promoted to primary Production site in VASBY. PORT to

remain as failover site. Old platform in LUNDA discontinued

INET – FRIDAY JUNE 17

TIME (CEST) DESCRIPTION

15:00 Nasdaq will communicate that migration of INET to the new primary site in VASBY will be initiated during the evening

18:05 INET closed for logins


INET – SATURDAY JUNE 18 TIME (CEST) DESCRIPTION

14:00 Nasdaq will communicate that promotion of INET to the new primary site has been completed, and customer login test will start

14:00 – 17:00 INET Production login test. One or several of the following tests should be performed depending on how you access the market: - Login to the following INET protocols in VASBY: FIX , OUCH, FIX DROP, TCP ITCH,

ITCH for Reported Trades, GLIMPSE - Join ITCH Multicast

System state during login test: - No markets available - No order or trade report entry - Orders and trade reports will be rejected - ITCH Multicast will disseminate heartbeats only

17:00 (at latest) Customer shall report their login test results and ready for go live. Send e-mail to [email protected] with the following information: - Connectivity test successful (Y/N) - Ready for go-live (Y/N)

19:00 Go/NoGo Decision. Nasdaq to communicate INET status in VASBY: Migration completed or Rollback initiated

• A Rollback decision by Nasdaq is a consequence of major problems in the new Production

environments in VASBY

• Correcting issues and continuing in the new environments is always the preferred option

• In case of major problems, Rollback is considered when

– The fundamental reason of the failure is not clearly known

– The estimated time to fix the problem is not known

– The consequences of the incident vary among the members

– The full impact of the failure is not directly visible

– Interfaces and databases have become unavailable

– By the final decision point there are major problems where estimated time to fix is

unknown

• Decision to Rollback has to be taken based on the information available even though it

might be partial or inaccurate

• Customers are asked to be prepared for a potential Rollback during the Launch Weekend

• The Rollback Process starts from the decision to Rollback

• After the Rollback decision is taken, Nasdaq and the Customers will start a jointly

coordinated Rollback Process

• The Rollback Process will be synchronized using five check-points (CP)

• A check-point is a point in time during which the completion of the check-point related

activities will be reviewed (i.e comes at the end of a group of activities, not at the beginning)

• The schedule of the check-points will be presented in relation to the Rollback decision

• At each check-point the participants will report their status and readiness to proceed with

the Rollback

• At each check-point the overall progress of the process will be reviewed and instructions

how to continue will be provided to all parties involved
