Is it music or is it ear candy? I would pay straight up cash if a seasonedMusician or music lover to tell me in descriptive terms one song vs. another.

I see a platoon of artist that are as interchangeable as fruit baskets. I mean the pieceIs one step above karaoke. Bass and beats. Some woman singing about her sexThing or some man talking about his money and murder rate. I must pause here.

I grew up in Harlem N.Y.C. I trained and competed may ass off. During which time I ran up againstStone cold serious folks. Usually killers were the quiet ones. The cats that can lay it down wereOn the low tip. The reputation was always well respected because it was earned the hard way.

We didn’t spray paint walls or wear pants that exposed our butt cracks and nut sacks. That’s justPlain retarded. We didn’t think using assault weapons against a cat from a different part of townSomehow would makes us feared. How can holding an AK fit into your life style? Then yourRetarded ass want to rap about it and run an ongoing beef with other cats publicly to earn chipsIn a game that has no retirement plan. Drop a beat on it and call it dope. Damn. Well to each it’s own

Our entire being is tuned into organic sound. Organic meaning natural. If you have toGuess my meaning then you’re already lost. There used to be a saying “music calms the savage beast”. It implied that regardless of how intense a situation or person may be, there is a involuntary response to tones. Our nervous system will react. There’s a direct difference in being in the country among the birds and nature as a whole that makes the folks a little easy going. Time itself is felt as a different evolution. The city on the other hand with the traffic concrete and congestion brings on a heightened sense of urgency. Even it there really is no need to hurry.

Imagine folks playing actual instruments and voice like the soothing vibe of the country. On the other hand the heavy synch Bass and beats topped with auto tuned vocals as not only city but it’s a constant assault on the ear and nervous system. Folks used to say rock and heavy metal drove folks into crime. I don’t believe that. A fool is a fool. However no one ever blamed classical music for negativity. In fact they painted the illusion that classical meant breeding. Yeah right. However I get the point. My point is that if something is natural the downside will always pale in comparison. However the point isn’t about music quality either way. It’s about the commercial value period.

Music on a major scale is always about the money trail. One who thinks it’s notIs mistaken. What makes an artist popular is not his skill. It’s his or her commercial value. The reason most songs sound alike is due purely to a monetary mindset.

Millions are paid to the image of star power. It’s an illusion but a formula nonetheless. Do you believe thatThe fact that ordinary people know more about stars than they do about themselves. They cannot tell youHow many countries there are in Africa but they can tell you what kind of shoes the stars wear. The nameOf their children and who they’re dating. That’s the marketing machine at work. The media pimps the masses. They’re the perpetual mantra and driver of the herd. The herd being guess who?

It’s the money trail. Agents, PR, Social media marketing, etc. Those are investments that the industry requiresFor and artist to even get on the field. How else can you explain why so many cats that don’t have these resourcesMake up the list of all this social media yet can’t get past go. You don’t have the funds to compete. You will go broke.Your work will go down the drain in favor of expensive ear garbage. Check it out.
