    r yls was unique and special.

    A t i t s peak , Darr yls had 39 res tauran t s oper-

    a t ing in nine s ta tes. People lo ved Darr yls no t

    jus t f or the grea t f ood bu t also f or the f amil y-

    f riendl y en vironmen t and the memories crea ted

    inside the an t ique co vered walls.

    O ver the years, the Darr yls chain was bough t

    and sold a hand f ul o f t imes. I t was neglec ted

    and los t some o f tha t spark le. I t d windled f rom

    39 res tauran t s all the wa y do wn to 1 and was

    abou t to close i t s doors f or good.

    Tha t s when I decided to rek indle the re and

    bring Darr yls back to i t s original glor y. The

    res tauran t has undergone a $2 million reno va-

    t ion and e xpansion. We ve added grea t ne w

    fea tures lik e our re pits, brough t back the

    original Darr yls recipes, and pu t toge ther a

    world-class team.
