Amy patterns her classes after John Wesley’s “Way of Salvation” to promote a feeling of growth in grace for those starting over financially.

Having a minor degree in art, Rev. Beckling enjoys doing pottery and, in particular, sculptures. It gives her “a great deal of enjoyment to take a lump of clay and create animals or flowers.” Her favorite activity is to sculpt flowers, especially roses. She enjoyed making roses so much that she has worked with silver and made a necklace of roses, icing roses for cakes, even paper roses for table decorations etc. She also enjoys bowling.

Kyland is happily married to Dr. Natashia Jones-Dobbins of Killeen, TX. Kyland and Natashia are the proud parents of two daughters (with No. 3 on the way).

He began answering the call to ministry in 1999. On March 31, 2010, Mike left what is now Lockheed Martin Aeronautics. So, April Fools day was his first day of a full time appointment in ministry. According to Mike, “God has a wonderful sense of humor and yet even more incredible sense of timing.”

Steve’s Texas roots date back to Texas’ formation in 1836. In fact, his great, great, great, great, great grandfather, Col. Stephen William Blount, was one of the signers of the Texas Declaration of Independence. Before hearing his call to ministry, Steve spent 15 years working in the commercial printing industry. Aside from serving God, he also enjoys reading mystery novels, jogging and spending time outdoors.

Robert learned at an early age that he can take anything apart, put most back together and build or repair most items. He says that he will never master English, Spanish, golf and spelling. He was the oldest person in his seminary class, “It takes some of us longer to understand what God has called us to do.” Robert says his wife Mimi also earned a Masters of Divinity degree while he was in seminary, “She just wasn’t given credit.”
