1 Introduction
1.1 Purpose of the Document
If a deliverable is not a document by itself (mainly type report in the list of deliverables), but e.g. a piece of software code or any other item, a short management summary must be provided in form of a document that explains the deliverable and refers to any applicable internal document (e.g. a software test report or a specification).
The purpose of this summary is to report on the website of the CARBOTRAF project.
1.2 Document Scope
This summary is applicable for the electronic communication platform used by all partners throughout the project duration.
1.3 Partners
This section defines the contribution of each project partner to the document.

2 Management Summary
The CARBOTRAF website (www.carbotraf.eu) is an information channel that will be
up-dated during the project and will be available for the public which is interested in
the Carbotraf project. The main goal of the website is to inform the public about the
evolution and the status of the Carbotraf project. The website will be available using
any web browser software (Internet Explorer and/or Mozilla Firefox is recommended)
There are no specifications or special procedures for using the website.
The website consists of a “menu”, a “home” page and an “about us” button.
On the “Home” page, you will find an overview and brief introduction of the Carbotraf
Website with the latest news regarding the project.

Following description is about the functionalities of the different buttons on the CARBOTRAF Website
KEEP INFORMED BUTTON:
The keep informed button is a sign up for the newsletter of the CARBOTRAF website. When registered, you will be added to the mailing list of the CARBOTRAF website.
How does it work?
TO SIGN UP:
- Press the keep informed button on the right side of the CARBOTRAF website
- Fill out your email address and verify “image below”.
- Press submit and you have now registered for the CARBOTRAF newsletter
- After you press submit you see a screen that shows: “Thank you for your registration.”
- Within 24 hours you will get confirmation on your registration by email.

MAILING LIST MANAGEMENT:
- After people clicked on the submit button, the email address comes into the website database mailing list.
- These emails addresses are exported into an Excel contacts file.

CONTACT FORM :
- To receive more information on specific questions or to request a login visitors can press the contact button or press “Contact Us “
- Fill out the form. Following fields are required: first name, last name, company and email address.
- If wanted you can check the tick box so you will be automatically be signed up for the mailing list / newsletter.
- Fill out the security code in the box on the right
- After submitting the form you will get the message that the information request has been send and you will be contacted soon.
- People will automatically receive an email with the message that we will contact them as soon as possible.

CONTACT FORM (INFORMATION):
- After visitors have filled out the contact form we (ETS) receive an email containing the information about the person (name, company, email) and question(s). - This information will be stored in the Excel contacts file.
LOG-IN FOR STAKEHOLDERS:
Log-in section of the website is a restricted area for STAKEHOLDERS. Peoples will have to get access from us (ETS) to see the content.
- by clicking “log-in” in the menu bar on the left, you can access the STAKEHOLDER page
- the first time you want to access, you first need to send an email to [email protected] by filling out the contact form. This form is reachable by clicking contact us in the text or clicking the green “CONTACT US” button on the right.

- After visitors have send us the relevant information on the Contact US form, they will receive an email with the message that we will be in contact as soon as possible. (manual access procedure after verification of persons details).
- ETS will receive the request email as described in the CONTACT US BUTTON description above
- ETS will set-up an account containing the information we already received and the standard log-in will be the email address and as password we will use the same email address. - After stakeholders have received their log-in details, they can change the password (min of 7 characters is required) and account information themselves.
- If stakeholders have forgotten their password they can click the button “forgot password” below the password box and they will go to a page were they can fill out their email address. When they click ”send password reset email”, they will receive an email with a link which will allow them to obtain a new password.
