wonderful time at RTC, and are getting

day at Fall Rally South! It seems that

this key club year is going by so fast! I

Fall Rally South What Is Fall Rally South? Fall Rally South is a compilation of

key clubbers from all over the CNH district, that meet up at

Six Flags Magic Mountain in California, for a day of fun, crazi-

ness, new friendships, and a TON of rollercoasters!

What can I expect at Fall Rally South? You can expect to

lose your voices from a whole day of cheering your little

hearts out, a day full of LOTS AND LOTS of roller coaster

riding, new friendships, new experiences, and hopefully for our

division, WINNING THE SPIRIT STICK!

What is the purpose of Fall Rally South? The purpose of fall

rally south is not just to meet new key clubbers, enjoy a day

of fun, but to raise money for charity, a very important con-

cept that can be taken from Fall Rally. Key Club hopes to

raise money for charities such as Children’s Miracle Network,

or Eliminate MNT.

Describe Fall Rally in One Word: Unforgettable.

Region 5 Training Conference

As always, Regional Training Conference was a blast. As the third RTC that I

have had the pleasure of attending, I consider myself a seasoned veteran of

spirit battles and watching PTP presentations. While Cimarron only had a small

group attend in comparison to other schools, our spirit was just as big and loud

as everybody else’s! RTC is the time that the members are truly shown the fun

side of Key Club, and I’m glad that everyone that chose to go got to experience

it. I’m so insanely proud of the Spartans for being top three in spirit battles

for D28W for the second year in a row, and although we didn’t win the spirit

stick, going to semi-finals was a privilege and an honor, especially when the odds

were stacked against us in terms of the number of members we had. Every single

one of my members that attended gave 110% to cheering, and I am insanely proud

of them all! Although I really wanted to see us win the spirit stick in my senior

year of high school, we are definitely on the path to victory, and I have high

hopes for this club in the upcoming years. The only downfall is that this is the

last Regional Training Conference that I will attend, and I will spend the rest of

the year resisting the extremely tempting urge to fail the 12th grade just to

attend next year. Thankfully, I have Fall Rally South to look forward to, because

I’m definitely ready to show off my Seamonkey pride!

Haunted Harvest

The Haunted Harvest took place at the Springs Preserve in Las Vegas, where we

volunteered and helped with set up, running booths, giving people breaks, and a lot

of fun entertainment was there as well. It was enjoyable and very fulfilling to

see kids faces glimmer with happiness and sunshine after they went through

booths of games and such. Throughout the day, it was a fun event, and very nice

to know that even small events such as these can do a great deal of good for

the community for which I live in. Eric Trang

Division 28 West Bowling Event

Our first division bowling event was such a huge success! We went to Red Rock

Bowling Lanes and rented out a few lanes for the whole division, and a total of

about 30-40 people took part it in! As our first division event this year, I

thought that was a pretty great turn out! The division social goal was to help

create bonds between members of different clubs within the division and help

them interact more, and that was exactly what happened at this division bowling

event. In conclusion, this event was super fun, and I look forward to more divi-

sional events that come along our way!
