Electric Power Corporation )

Significant Highlights : Directed, coordinated and supervised electrical construction, installation, support, documentation,

and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and costumer requirements. Head up completed installations and observed operations to ensure conformance to design and

equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards. In charged of project production efforts to assure projects are completed satisfactorily, on time and

within budget. Prepared and studied technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems to ensure that

installations and operations conform to standards and customer requirements. Supervised cable laying, glanding, looping, dressing and termination for electrical and instrument

cables. Confirmed that Quality Standards and Installations methods are carried out during surveillance of

work.

December 2011 – October 2012 : Taisei ( Sky Oryx Joint Venture ) Doha Qatar, New Doha International Airport Project as Electrical Testing & Commissioning Engineer

Significant Highlights : Oversee setting up and testing of Medium Voltage and Low Voltage switchboard including the

apparatus e.g. circuit breaker, disconnecting switches, earthing switches, VT’s, protection devices such as earth fault detection and measurement devices or centers.

Handled the tests of emergency power, generator, UPS system including the batteries, the UPS units and switchboards and instrumentation and control system, FDAS, Security and CCTV, BMS, BGM/PA.

Witnessed the testing of electrical installations and equipment to ensure the design intent and functionality are met.

Take action on scheme test or functional test, testing of mechanical and electrical interlocking schemes.

Attested on testing of Distribution box, UPS, X-rays, motors, sensors and controller for airport system.

Assured that the commissioning obligations of the project are carried out in accordance with the terms of contract, quality and schedule in conformance with good practice of commissioning standards.

Significant Highlights : Implemented quality control procedures ( QCP ), make sure that any activity offered has an approved

shop drawing, method statement and Inspection & Test Plan ( ITP ) Monitored site activities to ensure quality of work is in compliance with contract requirements, good

construction practice, only approved materials are used, compliance with shop drawings. Conducted regular site inspection as per the intervention points marked in the relevant ITP. Acceptance of project materials and equipment deliveries. Observed work in progress to ensure that the procedures are followed and the materials used conform

to specification. Reported non-conformity through Non Conformance report ( NCR ), reviewed by line supervisor

conditions are properly addressed. Handled the test and inspection of all electrical works such as power supply, sub-station, back up

power, extra low voltage like FDAS, security and CCTV, BMS, BGM/PA Performed inspection / test activities in accordance with the applicable specifications. Reviewed plans, codes, specifications and approved submittals for electrical works. Ensures that proper safety and traffic control procedures are followed. Conducted monitoring of all electrical concerns and proper documentation for traceability.

Significant Highlights : Provide Request for Inspection, documents and attachment drawings for Inspection with Clients. Arranged Punchlists records and pull together to Construction Team for rectification and Close Out

with the Clients. Oversee outsource contractors in performing electrical installations in the tower. Reviewed as-built plans and lay-out for the electrical installations within the tower. Inspected and reviewed ELECTRICAL works completed and as stated in the scope of works. Kept close coordination among staffs to ensure proper dissemination and implementation of Work

and Safety procedures. Prepared and submitted progress report to the Project Manager. Categorized and prioritized electrical complaints from clients such as long power interruptions, noisy

distribution transformers and defective power distribution components. Make daily and weekly electrical trouble reports for the implementation of corrective action and the
