Dancer trained in classic, contemporary dance: Limón, Gram, Kurt Jooss technique, and choreographic composition. With international renowned teachers such as: Esteban Brunat, Guillerma Coll, Alberto Corbino (Julliard’s School), Ruth Chabenet, Avelina Argüelles, Gilberto Ruiz Lang, Joe Alegado (José Limón Company), Anne Morin, Jean Cebrón Lutz Förster,Maluo Airaudo, Dominique Mercy (first dancers of the Pina Bausch Company), Ramón Oller... In 1990 she shows her first professional choreography in the “Maratón del espectacle of the Mercat de les Flors” festival of Barcelona, obtaining an excellent critic in The Vanguard, one of the most important newspapers of Barcelona, and she begins her career as a national and international choreographer. Alicia Soto, through her choreographies and with pedagogy, has taken the work of disseminating the contemporary dance and dance-theater during these last 10 years in Castilla-León, a Community with an absence of the professional circle of dance.
