WorkExperience  Italy   Airworthiness engineer at Alenia Aeronautica March 2004 – February 2009

• Responsible for the Definition and Application of the

Airworthiness and Certification policy applied to the Eurofighter Program;

• Responsible to guarantee the continuous airworthiness of the fleet (both series and development one).

• Supported and successfully finished more than 10 Aircraft development campaign ranging from new weapon implementation to new Avionics instruments and features.

This part of my career was essential for developing management skills on a multinational programme making me understand the importance of teamwork and communication management.

 

   

 Germany   Airworthiness and Safety engineer at Eurofighter Gmbh March 2009 – August 2013 • Manager responsible for both the airworthiness and safety

aspects of the Eurofighter series aircraft fleet; • Responsible for the co-ordination and activity definition for the

four European Partner Companies. • Achieved the delivery and the certification of the first 2 Core

Tranches of Aircraft (more than 350 aircrafts successfully delivered and certified).

• Successfully supported the certification and delivery of the export campaign in Saudi Arabia. (almost 50 aircrafts delivered)

This role led me to face many challenges related to both the technical support of the fleet and to the management of different persons and team coming from an heterogeneous background (mainly Spain, Italy, Germany and UK).

In this role I have also been awarded by the BAEs company (British Aerospace) for my contribution in enhancing the customer performance in 2014 because of re-definition of the activities in support of Aircraft preparation for flight.

 

Qualification and Certification Senior Project Leader at Eurofighter Gmbh September 2013 – up to now • Responsible for the front-end interface with the company

customers for Qualification, Certification and Delivery aspects.

In moving to this role I took the chance to act more actively in managing the interface with customers (both for core and export businesses).
