After the news of a terrible diagnosis, Lili begins an inner journey where she finds a new meaning for cancer which helps her heal her memmories and her life.

STORY

Lili spends her days dreaming and running away from her life. She has a job where she is not being paid fair nor on time. She goes to her annual checkup with her gynecologist and complains of a lump in her left breast. It is not until she experience a strong pain that she decides to go with the oncologist. Lili remembers her past while she recieves the news that she has cancer and she has to go through all the aggressive treatments associated with this disease. A second bone tumors makes her take an inner journey and decides to try all of the alternative medicine that she has heard of. Lili begins to write a script that helps her remember and digest her emotions. The cancer spreads to her lungs, but Lili keeps on trying everything, and then she receives another dignosis, the cancer spread to more bones. Lili changes the music she listents to, the books she reads, the food she eats. She then finds a new meaning of cáncer, she accepts it and stops fighting it and starts living each day as it would be her last.

Synopsis

Project virtuesThe Soundtrack of my life is not just a film project, it’s a mission, a philosophy of life with a transcendental message to assimilate and to process one of the most significant diseases in recent years that have caused 13% of all the human deaths in the world. The main virtue and objetive of this film is to transform the idea, fear and energy that has the word “ Cancer “, so we could be able to face it from a calmer state.It is movie for every social class identifying the individual with their inner selves and with true love of couple, family and friends so they can to become aware of life and the hazardous situations around everyday for every human being and thus putting the love and forgiveness to their fears and wounds.Another virtue is that we want to highlight the beauty of Mexican culture presenting beautifully the states of Quintana Roo and Guerrero with its enchanting beaches, the warm golden sunsets and its people,

along the great Mexico City that, within a beautiful and moving story of love and perseverance where the human spirit is highlighted and in our Mexican traditions such as folklore in the food, fellowship and family harmony are recovered .Our Heroine, Lili , represents the pure awakening in AWARENESS to accept and forgive oneself, and start living HAPPY, working day to day on herself and regaining self-esteem; A clear example that life is not not about falling into the constant human struggle of not to sink into the swamp of rejection where society sets out what is right or wrong, but about flowing, set back, and enjoy the ride.We strongly believe that it is essential to make quality films for the world, that reinforce the meaning and reason for living with a clear and strong messages of LOVE, LIFE AND WELLBEING as highlighting this adventure.

audioThe original idea for the Score of “Soundtrack of my life” is that the musical production starts being created in the tone of the trivial and then it will gradually transform into a musical spiritual concept. The transformation beigns at the beginning of the film with a sound that represent a ‘plastic box’ or of something we can easily find in a supermarket, valued at not more than twenty pesos, and as the script develops, the sound of the music will transform into an exotic, bright and attractive wood box which will identify our musical composition in a seductive style towards the end of the film. The idea is that the score makes a “metamorphosis” from something simple and plastic to something completely organic.. (the explanation of a plastic product, must, in this case, be as a simple object compared to an artistic handmade product that takes a different value for its physical and visual composition). The musical concept of “The Soundtrack Of My Life”, should not be labeled as a representative or relative of ‘Hindu’ musical style; this does not mean that the music will be represented by the musical envelope containing this genre. However, we might name it “Mantra”, stating that the music of this particular style, has some psychological, spiritual or healing power.

Mantras may or may not have a literal or syntactic meaning, but will establish a harmonious concept of peace. Using music as a harmonic tool for spiritual healing, we will gradually arrive, as the film progresses, to the maturity of one’s abilities that offers spiritual belief as to the existence ofdifferent alternatives for the healing of the body.At the beginning of the film, the music must contain certain electronic elements which will make an apparent superficial sound. For the end of the movie, it will be organic and deep. With the use of voices, zithers, Duduk style instruments, and many other rich acoustic instruments.The Soundtrack for “The Soundtrack Of My Life” is essential in this film production. Themain character expresses her experiences through the songs at the time of when some events happen.
