Transcript of Customer Service Lost Package
Hello, I'm sorry to hear that there is an issue with your order. I just checked with Fed Ex and they have the package was delivered on 6/17. I have attached the screen shots of the tracking from your order. The postal service / Fed Ex / UPS here in California makes their fair share of mistakes so lets check a few things so we can find your beautiful dishes. Please check to make sure we have the correct address: Joe Smith 1234 Main Street Long Beach, CA 90815 The dishes could have been delivered elsewhere by mistake, like the neighbors for example. I'd recommend talking to your Fed Ex today and telling them that you had a large 18 x 18 x 18 non discreet brown package (about 24 pounds) go missing last week. Ask them if they accidentally delivered it to the wrong house or when they do delver packages to you, where do they leave them? This same situation has happened a couple of times and it turns out the package was delivered to the neighbor across the street and it took another 2 or 3 days for it to be returned or walked across the street to the correct address.... Or the neighbor eventually takes it to the correct address themselves. I'd also recommend you calling your local Fed Ex in your area. You calling will get much farther then by me calling the 1800 number. I've notice that packages mysteriously "appear" when the buyer talks to the local office and starts to determine the whereabouts of the "missing" package. It happened to me two weeks ago when I dropped off a package at my local post office. I found out that it just sat there for 8 days because one of the mail clerks was on vacation. My buyer was bewildered, as it never left Long Beach. Then my package was returned to me two days later and my postal delivery guy had no idea why it didn't go out. I think the package just sat in the post office and after I called, they found it and voila, it was returned to sender for me to drop off again. Also, I'm not sure if you have children, spouse, or roommates who could have brought it in. Just last week I was waiting for a new ironing board (a pretty big item), found out it was delivered and my husband brought it in and put it in the garage without telling me.
