The waterproof strip is self adhesive. It cannot be removed and replaced, so needs to be correctly positioned first time. Fit from the bottom making sure that the seal is in contact with the bottom bracket (DAN18). The seal should be squarely on the edge of the glass. Apply some pressure to ensure that it is firmly in position.
