The course programmes have been especially designed for young students and are adapted to the level of each participant. Thanks to sound teaching experience, offers an effective and enjoyable approach to language learning, with our teachers attaching particular importance to communication. They deliver interactive and motivating classes allowing for the easy practice of newly acquired language skills. Progress is made naturally in a pleasant atmosphere. Our teachers

Our teaching team is made up of young and dynamic teachers who teach in their native language. They are chosen for their teaching abilities, their enthusiasm and for the attention they know to give to each student. They make every effort to create a relaxed, fun and stimulating atmosphere, and the topics of the lessons are aligned with the interests of the students. Even during extracurricular activities, the teachers encourage students to use the language being studied. This fun and motivating teaching is the key to effective learning.

Our certificate

At the end of your stay, you receive an language certificate attesting to your participation in classes, validating your language level and specifying the results obtained.

Adapted to your level

Whatever your current level of the language you are studying, you will take a course designed for your needs. At the beginning of your stay, you will sit an evaluation test, after which you will be placed in a class corresponding to your level. A weekly test allows the teacher to accurately follow up on the progress being made by each student.

Course typesClasses take place every morning from Monday to Friday. At each venue, you have the choice between a standard and an intensive course. Private lessons are also available at every centre, in combination with the standard course only.

Standard course 20 lessons x 45 minutes per week Every weekday benefit from three hours of language classes in small groups with our young dynamic teachers.

Intensive course 25 lessons x 45 minutes per week Benefit from an additional lesson per day, focussed mainly on oral communication and the development of common projects. Five extra lessons each week are ideal for gaining maximum benefit from your group classes and encourages rapid progress.

Private course 5 lessons x 45 minutes per week In order to make maximum progress, benefit from an additional five private lessons per week to reach your personal objectives. Rapid progress is guaranteed. Private lessons can only be combined with the Standard course.

Our course centre Located in the quiet Grunewald district, just 30 minutes away from the centre of the German capital by public transport, our course centre looks directly onto Lake Wannsee. With its terrace and sunny garden, the centre has an ideal location, where young participants can enjoy green surroundings while being close to Berlin’s major attractions as well as Potsdam and the airport. For your convenience, all of the facilities are located in a single building, including the classrooms, the dining hall and the residence. Vending machines and free internet access are available to students on-site.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Accommodation

Home away from home It is certainly easier to communicate, to exchange and to discover the culture around you when you feel at home. In a pleasant and welcoming environment, you will be able to take full advantage of your language study stay. We have selected various accommodation options designed around the requirements of young students. According to the region, our students can choose to stay in a residence or with a host family. Whichever option you choose, you will be in an ideal situation to practise the language you are studying daily.

residences Live with young people of all nationalities, discover various points of view and make new friends. Residence accommodation allows you to have a very enriching experience of community and international life. Depending on the destination, students are accommodated in bedrooms with 1 to 4 beds alongside other students. The language classes, the majority of meals as well as some of the activities take place within, or in the immediate surroundings of, the campuses (residence and course centre). On request and depending on availability, students may be accommodated with a friend.

host families The conviviality of a family environment, daily practice of the local language and the discovery of a new culture are some of the numerous advantages that host family accommodation offers. You stay in a twin room and share the common rooms with the members of the family. You eat breakfast and the evening meal with the family and lunch in the cafeteria of the course centre. On request and depending on availability, our students may be accommodated with a friend.

Pocket money serviceJust like at the bank In the residences, a pocket money service is available to the students. Functioning like a bank, the pocket money service is open every day, allowing students to deposit or withdraw money.

Internet & telephone accessStay connected The internet lets students stay in touch easily with their families. All course centres provide free internet access. What’s more, the course venues in the Alps are situated in regions benefitting from good mobile phone network coverage.

InsuranceTravel with full peace of mind You will find various insurance options on our enrolment form. These insurance policies are valid in Switzerland, France, Germany or England.

Health/accident During your enrolment for one of our programmes, you will need to certify that you are in possession of compulsory health and accident insurance cover, valid in the country that you wish to visit.

Cancellation In addition, we strongly recommend that you take out cancellation insurance, in case, at the last minute, you should be unable to participate in the language study programme that you have booked.

Student supervision Safety is our highest priority We work hard to create the perfect environment for a language study stay. The supervision of our students is effective and discreet, adapted to the age group and the type of accommodation booked. In this way, each student gets the maximum possible benefit from their stay in complete safety. From the first day to the last, team members are present and available to give the assistance requested by each student and to ensure their safety. At our residences, students are monitored 24 hours a day. Students who stay with host families benefit from more free time in accordance with their parental authorisation. Emergency numbers, available 24/7, are in service at each of the course centres.

Arrival at the course centresEasy access!

By plane Each of the course centres is located close to an international airport. So whatever the location you have chosen, you will be able to get there very easily! If you so wish, you may book an private airport transfer. A member of our team will pick you up at the airport and drive you directly to your accommodation. A cost-effective alternative is the collective transfer: according to a specific timetable, based on the originally scheduled times of arrival and departure, students are collected (on arrival) or driven to the airport (on departure) by a bus with an representative on board.

For your child’s flight, we can offer you an Unaccompanied Minors (UM) service, provided in collaboration with the airline. Your child will be met at the airport by an airline representative and accompanied throughout the journey. This service is designed for young children travelling alone and is strongly recommended for travellers under 13 years of age (some airline companies even require it). Airlines will charge you the fees related to this service when you purchase your flight ticket; you will then need to register the UM service with at the time of enrolment. This means your child will be collected by an staff member on arrival, and accompanied and handed over to an airline representative on the day of departure. With this service, young travellers are sure to be accompanied at all times, at the airport and throughout their flight.

By car Parents who wish to drive their children by car to the course venue are welcome to. Complete documentation with all of the necessary information will be given to you prior to the stay. Please do not hesitate to contact us for more detailed information.

By train The train station transfer service may be booked if you are travelling by train. Just like our airport transfer, a member of the our team welcomes you upon your arrival at the train station and drives you to your destination.

By train, with our supervision Available at our Ascona and Lahntal course centres, an accompanying adult takes care of the students from their departure at Zurich Airport (for Ascona) or Lausanne train station (for Lahntal) until their arrival at the course centre. Students travel in a relaxed manner without worrying about changing trains alone.
