Voluntary activities as President of Alzheimer’s and Related Disorders Society of India
(ARDSI Hyd Deccan)
As a response to the lack of support and awareness for patients with dementia and their
caregivers, co-founded the NGO, ARDSI Hyderabad Deccan in 2008, which is first of its
kind dementia care and dementia caregiver support facility in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
ARDSI Hyderabad Deccan conducts various activities all aimed at improving the quality of
life of people with dementia and their families (www.ardsihyd.org).
