Options for Reporting
• Uses lists.asmx as the data source– Need to set the type to XML
• For lists not created by SharePoint, you need to know the GUID
• Can only report on one list

Options for Reporting
• Allows using Access 2007 and above to connect to a SharePoint site
• All the list are then created as linked table in Access
• Can establish relationships among lists
• Create report as a normal database
• No longer works in SharePoint 2010

• Install Web Front End on the scale out reporting service (if any)
• Configure RS service to run under a domain account
• Configure RS Integration at central admin

• Go to a SharePoint site, create a Report Library, or select an existing Document Library
• At the library settings, make sure management of content type is enabled
• Add the following content type into the library– Report Builder– Report Model– Report Data Source
