Office 365 Deployment
41
• Increase velocity of customers’ move to Office 365 while simultaneously reduce time and effort required to deploy
• Help customers realize value faster from their purchase of Office 365
• Make deployment cost more predictable and ensure that customers have a deployment plan at time of sale
• Establish deployment standards to manage customer expectations
• Scale partner ecosystem to deploy Office 365 to thousands of customers across all segments
Objectives
• Deployment is usually not discussed at the time of sale, so we want to change that behavior

• Improve customers’ experience of moving to online services – quick, efficient, and predictable
• Improve skills of partners so that they can assist customers to deploy and deliver value added services
Context
• Enable Partners to Deploy Office 365 in Small, Mid-Size, and Enterprise Customers
• Offer Microsoft Premier Deployment (MPD) to Office 365 EPG Customers (Major and CFAM only) where the number of seats exceeds 2,400
• Offer MPD to Dedicated customers in Enterprise Segment Customers
Strategy
• Provide Microsoft Online Deployment Guide (MODG) for Office 365
• Provide Deployment Training in every region worldwide
• Provide Deployment Support for up to 160 hours through MPD to partners for up to 3 engagements
• Maintain a list of Recommended Deployment Partners
Partner Enablement
• Build a BG funded team for Office 365 Deployment to customers > 2400 seats
