BONY-eared asssh, it mightsound like an insult, but thatsthe name scientists have givento a new deep sea discovery. The wriggly, translucentalien-ike sh (picturedbelow)is described as being a crossbetween a tadpole and an eel.

Curator of vertebrate zoologyat the Royal BC Museum inBritish Columbia Gavin Hanke

said he likes the sh so muchbecause it is so ugly. Its got a big bulbous head and

a tapering body and abby skin,he explains.

The bony-eared asssh wascaught o the coast of BritishColumbia and is now on displayat the local museum.

Apparently the kids are lovingit, along with the liberty it givesthem to say asssh aloudwithout getting a scolding fromtheir parents.

And if its name wasnt insultingenough it also holds the recordfor having the smallest brain-to-body ratio of all vertebrates.
