What it is: ▪ A massive wood panel that consists of cross-laminated layers of wood boards or lamellas
▪ CLT panel that has at least three layers
▪ Maximum panel size is 2.95m x 10.5m and panel thickness is between 60mm to 260mm
▪ Load-bearing structure, non-compressible, airtight and insulating
▪ The surface can be finished and processed in countless ways
CLT solid wood technology is the most advanced wood construction technology
and the panels can be used in all load-bearing and visual structures of the house -
base floor, intermediate floor, roof, exterior walls, interior walls and terraces
Advantages of CLT panels: ▪ The elements are manufactured in controlled conditions and delivered to the construction site,
resulting in less need for on site storage and reducing on site building time
▪ The CLT-element forms both the finished interior surface and load bearing structure, reducing
finishing time significantly
▪ CLT have good sound and heat insulation properties
▪ Good fire resistance. The solid wood will char, but resists fire and maintains its structural bearing
capabilities in the case of fire
▪ Ecology. In the manufacturing of CLT-elements even the second grade wood can be utilized
resulting in efficient use of the log and smaller carbon footprint
▪ Sustainable and fast grown wood species are used in the manufacturing of the elements

Layout of the CLT CLT is a wood panel product made from gluing layers of solid-sawn wooden boards (lamellas)
together. Each layer of boards is usually oriented perpendicular to adjacent layers and glued on
the wide faces of each board, usually in a symmetric way so that the outer layers have the same
orientation. By gluing layers of wood at right angles, the panel is able to achieve better structural
rigidity in both directions.
Thermal insulation Heating your home uses more energy and money than any other system in your home - typically
making up about 42% of your utility bill. No matter what kind of heating system you have in your
house, you can save money and increase your comfort by combining appropriate construction
methods, quality materials, exterior windows and doors, it is possible to minimize costs for
energy and heating.
Buildings made of CLT have naturally high thermal insulation since they are built using massive
planks of wood boards glued together. Because of that, using it as a construction material helps
to save on future maintenance costs of the building. It is also important to mention that, with the
right planning, CLT allows to build a structure that is free of thermal bridges, radically minimizing
heat loss.

Fire resistance Fire is a fright to any house, structure and nature in general. It can be caused by humans as well
as nature. One of the top priorities of house building is to make it fireproof, but also in the event
of a fire that the house will stay stable as long as possible.
Conventional construction, where metal or concrete is used as a base, requires additional improvements due to fire protection. The advantage of natural wood is that the burning of wood results in the production of char, which makes the burning more difficult. First, Wigo CLT panels are manufactured with a humidity factor of +/- 12%. If the CLT is exposed to fire, at about 100 degrees Celsius, this moisture will begin to vapor, making it harder to burn faster. Secondly, CLT is a solid wood construction consisting of several layers of together glued boards. After the right thickness of the panel is assembled, it is pressed in the manufacturing process to make it even harder and more durable. Combining many wooden layers of boards and pressing them together, we get a construction that has a high fire resistance and, in the event of fire, it will not burn with open flame, but more likely to char one sided.
Sound properties Soundproofing, especially in residential buildings, plays an important role in people's well-being and peace. Noise can be minimized by finding appropriate construction solutions. This should be done in a timely manner, during the design phase, which takes into account several factors: location of the house, type of the building, adjacent structures, traffic flow, infrastructure in general, and even climate. In general, there are two main types of sound: 1st airborn sounds - noises from surrounding factors, well as voices and music from inside or out 2nd structure born sounds – noises coming from residents when walking, scraping, moving Cross Laminated Timber is quite good in soundproofing, but it is recommended to combine the panel with insulation or other sound absorbing material to further reduce noise levels, specially in residential buildings.
Wood is indeed a durable and unique construction material, which is a great reason for CLT panels to be the best solution for modern home construction
Wood Species Wigo Group imports and uses only highest quality materials and they all have to be certified and
should meet our quality standard. Main raw material market is Northern Russia. Under harsh
environmental conditions, the tree grows slowly but is extremely durable.
To offer our customers the choice of panels that better suits their taste, we produce CLT panels
in a variety of qualities as well using different tree species
Siberian Spruce ( picea omorika )
Siberian Larch ( larix sibirica )
Siberian Pine ( pinus sibirica )
The top layer of the panel, whether it is an interior or exterior wall, can be left as it is, because
the visual appeal of it is given by the natural color and shape of the wood.
In addition to the exterior walls, we offer natural wood decorative boards, which will both protect
the panel itself and make it more personal by choosing board styles and layout. The same goes
for interior walls, the visual quality panel will be both aesthetically pleasing and smoothly
polished. Of course, the panel can be painted, varnished, overlaid with another layer of wood, if
the client wishes so.

Manufacturing and processing of CLT panels
1. The manufacturing process begins with loading the calibrated materials onto the
transport table.
2. The transport table has two floors for storing materials. 120m3 of wood can be stored on
the transport table. Packages of material are transported to the first transverse conveyor
at the transport table.
3. On the transverse conveyor, the boards are loaded with vacuum suction, lifting the top
row of boards and placing it on the conveyor. The boards are guided along the conveyor
to the first feed line, where the geometry of the board is measured using a laser. After
the measurements, the boards are guided along the feed line in an extender which,
according to the measurements, extends the boards to obtain the maximum straight raw
material.
4. After lengthening, the boards are fed through the feed rollers into the growing unit, which
plans the boards into the required lengths and cuts off the excess residue, using it for the
next board growing process.
5. After cultivation, the board is fed through a feed table and a vertical conveyor into a four-
sided planer, where the board is planed from all four sides to obtain the desired cross-
section of the board.
6. After planning, the boards are routed through a transverse conveyor to the second feed
line, which is conveyed to the extender. The extender lengthens the boards to the
required length.
7. After extender, the board is guided through the feed rollers where an adhesive applicator
is applied to the top of the board. After the adhesive is applied, the machine moves the
boards across the feed tables to the CLT panel spreading table.
8. The panel boards are arranged in a CNC conveyor, which grips the boards with vacuum
suction and places each piece in the appropriate position. Once all elements of the CLT
panel have been assembled, the panel is moved into the press. The panel is pressed with
pneumatic pressure and, during compression, the panel is heated by microwave,
accelerating the compression time.
9. For gluing CLT panels melamine glue (Dynea Prefere 4546) and hardener (Dynea Prefere
5093) are used. The board growing machine uses polyurethane glue (Loctite HB S029
Purbound).
10. The glued CLT panel is raised from the press and placed in the storage area, where it is
prepared for transportation.
11. If the panel requires further processing, the CLT panel is transported to the CNC unit
where it is subjected to the necessary processing operations.
12. After processing, the finished product is placed in a storage area where it is prepared for
transport.

Wigo Innovo System® The Wigo Innovo System, as a wall-ceiling-roof system in the premium segment of prefabricated
house construction and has been a trend-setting and multiple award winner. Now it has been
perfected as a total ecological system. The result is a unique "outer wall combination: only made
of wood", which is unique in terms of sustainable quality and living comfort in prefabricated
house construction.
Patented and therefore unique in the field of timber house production
Advantages
No use of polyethylene Breathable
Solid wood construction High sound insulation
Exclusively of ecological materials Perfect insulation for lower energy costs
Natural and healthy room climate Heat storing, moisture regulating system
The main advantage of using Wigo Innovo System is that the panel is finished from
the start to finish at the factory and delivered fully ready to its intended location.
Insulation, all communication networks, outlets and openings are integrated to
minimize assembly time.
Innovative solutions for house structures The "solid wood wall" guarantees an extremely low energy consumption for heating and cooling,
has a moisture-regulating effect and convinces with a very good sound insulation. Probably the
most important advantage of the natural material wood is its heat storage capacity - in summer
as well as in winter. The solid wood in combination with the cellulose insulation ensures that the
heat stays outside on hot days and that little heat is given off when it is cold. Plus the
temperatures inside remain largely constant.
Compared to conventional timber frame construction systems, WIGO has expanded the wood
content up to ten times and completely dispenses with PE films or other plastics.

Project development Any type of production process begins with a brief insight into the desired form of collaboration
and its outlines, which includes initial information about the project itself, design of it, preferably
budget costs and the goals to be achieved
1st Step: Initial information and quotation Construction processes are not always easy. In order to make it as transparent and simple as
possible for our clients, we initially offer a rough first estimate of the project.
It includes:
• Overall CLT use and costs
• Machinery usage
• Design costs
• Transportation costs
• Additional information about project
In order to get the first estimate as accurate as possible, Wigo professionals will need some insight into
your project. The more detailed the information provided, the simpler and quicker the estimate
preparation time will be
To prepare it, we will ask you for the following information:
• A brief description of the project. What type of building is intended, what is the construction plan
and where the structure will be located. By providing such information, it will make it much easier
to understand the project itself, to resolve issues that arise in any production processes and
overall questions, like local regulations, transport routes etc.
• Detailed description of the intended use of the CLT. Whether it’s private house, residential
building or even just CLT for any other construction process, it is necessary to know it before
beginning of production
• Technical information that includes everything about and around the project. Starting with the
construction area, dimensions and other parameters. Knowing this information will give us an
idea of the size of planned structure.
• All necessary architectural and engineering plans. Ideally, we would prefer to receive
implementation plans in 2D or 3D file format and which are as detailed as possible already during
the first phase
• Any other useful information which may directly or indirectly influence the implementation of the
project. Details are very important. When overlooked they can directly affect production process,
costs and the construction cycle as a whole
The main task in the first step is to get an idea of the project as a whole, which includes
information on estimated costs, deadlines and other construction-related issues
2nd Step: Approval, production and delivery The second step generally describes the further movement of the project from the start of
production to delivery.
It is important to note that each project can be different and the description
below is for informative reasons only
• After processing the request and the initial estimate, discussions are ongoing to resolve any
uncertainties. This may include in-depth questions about the details of the project, suggestions
from us and an overall production plan. This is a very important point as this part, because in this
process the agreement is sign and production can start.
• Works at the factory are started according to a developed production and task plan, which is also
available to the customer. As mentioned, the projects are almost always different, and so are the
production times, which are usually affected by: overall project size, complexity and material
selection. All necessary equipment and materials are thoroughly tested before each individual
element is manufactured.
• When all elements of the project have been made, a quality check is carried out to ensure that all
materials produced are in accordance with the customer's wishes and criteria. According to order,
Cross Laminated Timber panels are prepared for transportation. Regardless of whether they are
just plain panels or a ready-made house structure, they are properly packed so that they are not
damaged during transport: scratched, wrinkled or exposed to excess moisture and dirt
