Transport Liberalisation Policy
1.Most consumer use buses on these routes for work purposes;
2.Increase in the number of buses over the past five years;
3.Supply of buses was reliable; and
4.Some consumers preferred other modes of transport.

Road Traffic Regulations
1. Consumers felt there was no price competition as the fares were fixed;
2. Removal of consumer subsidy on fuel in 2013 increased the bus fares;
3. Consumers bemoaned lack of scheduled buses;
4. Consumers were of the opinion that bus fares were too high for the quality of service being provided; and
5. Consumers felt enhanced road traffic enforcement was promoting safety even though they questioned the comfort of the buses and driver behaviour.

1.Consumers were generally satisfied with the current bus station (bus stop) infrastructure.

Transport Liberalisation Policy
1.Consumer held the opinion that government policy had made it possible for a wide range of choice, quality and time of travel for buses;
2.Consumers felt competition was not just on price but included schedule of service and level of luxury.

5. Consumers felt enhanced road traffic enforcement was promoting safety even though they questioned the comfort of the buses and driver behaviour.

1.Consumers were generally satisfied with improvements in time travelled due to improvements in road infrastructure; and
2.There was concern though on safety due to over-speeding.
