Classes begin the week of January 14, 2013. Classes meet once a week for 8 weeksClasses begin the week of January 14, 2013. Classes meet once a week for 8 weeksClasses begin the week of January 14, 2013. Classes meet once a week for 8 weeks Academic Chess (K)- taught by: Academic Chess Check mate!! Please come join us in this fun class, where your children will learn the fundamentals of chess. A different lesson will take place each week, followed by chess play. Chess is a life long skill, which benefits a child’s mental discipline and much more. Academic Chess (1st-5th)- taught by: Academic Chess This class is designed for all levels of play, from beginner to advanced. Each week a different fun and dynamic lesson will be taught, according to the expertise of the class. On the last day, a mini-tournament will take place, where trophies will be awarded.

Little Ninjas– taught by: Karate 4 Kids USA This program was developed with young children in mind. We focus on coordination, self-control, balance, strength, stamina and discipline in a safe, non-competitive environment. This high energy classes are taught to motivate our youngsters, while building a strong foundation for respect and disci-pline through Martial Arts. Traditional uniform and white belt are provided. Ninjas– taught by: Karate 4 Kids USA These classes will focus on developing coordination, basic technique: kicks/strikes/blocks, self-control, balance, flexibility, strength, and stamina in a safe, supportive , and non-competitive environment. This high energy class teaches respect and discipline. We start with traditional Karate uniform and white belt. Children will test for a new belt at the end of the session.

TGA Premier Junior Golf– taught by: TGA TGA programs instill confidence, awareness and life values in a progressive 5 level program. Students learn the fundamentals, etiquette and rules of the game with an 8:1 student to instructor ratio. All equipment is provided by TGA. Come out and play with TGA! Gymnastics– taught by: 5 Stars Sports and Enrichment The primary purpose of recreational gymnastics is to learn while having FUN. We utilize developmentally appropriate curriculum to teach/reinforce loco-motor skills and manipulative movements with instruction that include rolls, cartwheels, basic balance and body awareness. Through this program, your child will develop their coordination skills, confidence, strength, flexibility, discipline, goal orientation, organization and creativity. These will serve

as “stepping stones” as they progress into more advanced gymnastics and/or other sports.

Kindersports and Games– taught by: Overtime Athletics We use sports and games that promote sharing, cooperation and fitness. Instructors lead the class in games various games. A safe environment is created so children feel comfortable participating and exploring new activities like soccer, basketball, nerf football and field events. This age specific program is a great introduction to athletics, teamwork and sportsmanship

Cheer-IT with Spir-IT Cheerleading– taught by: Overtime Athletics Take your spirit to a higher level! Learn routines, cheers, motions and jumps that promote teamwork, fitness and FUN. We’ll work on basic gymnastics and dance movements (under supervision of instructors). Cheers include: Who Rocks the House, G-O Yell Go, Dynamite and many more. You’ll even get to create your own cheer! Sign-up today! Animal Invasion! Taught by: Parker-Anderson Enrichment Animal invasion is a class for all animal lovers. Your child will see and learn about all kinds of amazing live animals. Our hands‐on class includes Rep-tiles, Amphibians, Mammals, Birds, Insects and much more. ART Play– Kinders– taught by: SmART Space ARTplay is a fine arts program designed to build important skills and utilize a wide variety of materials and tools. Led by experienced art educators, lessons focus on drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, and mixed media. Each week includes new opportunities for creative exploration. ARTMania w/ SmART Space– taught by: SmART Space ART Mania is a fine arts program designed to build important skills and utilize a wide variety of materials and tools. Each week includes new opportunities for creative exploration SMARTech I– taught by: Fit n Fun Using age-appropriate & safe Lego® Duplo® bricks we engage students in learning the basic concepts & vocabulary of Engineering, Architecture, Technology and simple measurements. Learning by doing -- great fun! SMARTech II– taught by: Fit n Fun By building dozens of models students learn the underlining Engineering principles of simple & motorized (battery powered) machines, various archi-tectural structures, bridges, houses and robots. Learn well while having great fun! Play to your Health– taught by: Play to your Health Combination of sports training and innovative games that inspire movement. Students develop athletic coordination and learn valuable health lessons, such as how to read their heart rates. Students are encouraged to be motivated by themselves, for themselves Tumble, Balance & Yoga (1st-5th)- taught by: O2 Max Fitness Class includes basic tumble and Yoga poses along with balance where kids will learn to engage their core and focus on proper posture and form. Kids will leave the class feeling invigorated, more confident and self-aware. The class then proceeds to teach kids to do various tumble exercises while also adding some balance and yoga poses. The class will build into making a circuit of exercises ending with some yoga. There will also be some partner exercises to teach the element of teamwork.
